Rotherham Rugby Club would like to remind everyone connected with the club just how important respect in our sport is.
Our great game is fundamentally based on the value of respect, and rightly so.
We will always extend respect to our opposition, visiting supporters and of course our own loyal supporters too.
And certainly, that respect should always be extended to the referee and his team of officials who do a sterling job in demanding circumstances when emotions are often highly charged.
However, Rotherham Rugby Club under NO circumstances will tolerate any abuse towards the referee and his officials.
We would like to make clear that anyone found guilty of abusing the referee will not be made welcome at Rotherham Rugby Club.
