Rotherham Titans are delighted to announce hooker Charlie Maddison and full back Will Thomas have penned deals which will see them remain at Clifton Lane for the 2017/18 Championship season.
Maddison, 25, will embark on his third season in South Yorkshire, having joined the Club from Tynedale RFC in the summer of 2015.
Hexham born, Maddison recently picked-up the accolade of being voted Rotherham Titans Supporters Club Player of the Year and he follows a long line of quality players to pick up the award.
Maddison has made 38 appearances for the club, scoring three tries.
Charlie is now regarded as a senior player and during his time with the Titans he’s developed tremendous leadership qualities which make him a huge asset both on and off the field.
His all-action, combative style has made him a fans favourite at Clifton Lane and his commitment to the Club for next season is seen as a massive positive.
Welsh full back Will Thomas’s re-signing is also seen as a coup for the Club, following an impressive first season for the Titans.
Thomas, 23, joined the club from Llandovery RFC in the summer or 2016 and was undoubtedly a huge success for Rotherham last term, as his amazing footwork and ability to break the gain line saw him pick up numerous man-of-the-match awards.
Swansea born, Thomas made 18 appearances last season scoring two tries. He also picked-up the prestigious accolade of being voted the Players Player of the year.
Thomas will once again bring real quality and leadership to the Titans backline for the upcoming season.
