Titans confirm retention of Lee Millar

Rotherham Titans are pleased to confirm fly half Lee Millar will be wearing a Titans jersey for the 2017/18 Greene King IPA Championship season.

Millar, 25, joined Rotherham initially on loan from National One side Hull Ionians in January 2017 to ease their injury problems. However, with Lee making an immediate on-field impact, Rotherham moved quickly to pen a deal to keep him in South Yorkshire.

Born in Elgin, Scotland, Millar is a product of his first club Moray RFC. From there he spent three years developing his game at Gala and was a key figure in helping them return to the top flight in Scotland.

Whilst at Gala, Lee was part of the team which lifted the Scottish Cup in 2012 and he kicked over 300 points in the RBS Premier One competition during the 2012/13 season; he has also represented South of Scotland and the Scotland Club international side.

Having caught the eye north of the border, Championship side London Scottish snapped-up Lee initially on a one year deal in 2013. However, such was his development in the capital; the Richmond based side signed him up for a further two seasons.

During his time with the Exiles, Lee made 53 appearances and scored six tries.

Following an injury in his final season at Scottish his contract was not renewed and Lee moved north to Hull Ionians, where he came to the attention of the Titans.

Lee made his Titans debut in January 2017 with a home 23-10 win over Richmond, where he kicked 13 points. In all, Lee has made 7 appearances for the club, scoring one try and kicking 36 points.
