Rotherham Titans are today pleased to announce the addition of tight-head prop Andrew Foster to their squad, ahead of the 2017/18 Greene King IPA Championship season.
Foster, 23, has joined the Titans from Newcastle Falcons, where he developed his game through their academy system; although he has spent time with Blaydon RFC in National One, where he was a member for 14 years.
Newcastle born, Andrew made his Premiership debut for his home-town club in April 2015 against high-flyers Saracens and his European Rugby Challenge Cup debut against Brive in January 2016.
Andrew will offer stiff competition for the number 3 jersey and he is seen as a significant addition to the Titans front row.
Commenting upon his arrival at Clifton Lane, Andrew explained, "I've had a great couple of seasons at Newcastle Falcons working with some talented players and coaching staff, learning and developing as a team member and as an individual.
“I've had some fantastic opportunities along the way playing in both England and Europe; I’ve gained some invaluable experience and had some very memorable moments.
“As much as it saddens me to be leaving my local club, I'm excited and looking forward to new challenges ahead as I join the Rotherham Titans and work hard to make this season a successful one."
Andrew is also available for Player Sponsorship, the cost of which is £300. Please contact tony@titans-rugby.com for further details.
