Rotherham Titans and Heineken are together working hard to make sure that the 17/18 season delivers the best possible clubhouse experience for fans.
Officials from the club and brewer have been meeting to improve the quality and speed of bar service and will be:
Increasing the number of beer pumps in the main bar
Renewing the outside bar to give a great pitch side service
Introducing a new and exciting bottled range of products
In addition, Heineken will be introducing a new Titans Real Ale with 10p per pint going directly to support amateur rugby with Rotherham Phoenix.
There will also be a revamped post-match ‘Third Half’ with sponsorship from Strongbow adding to the fans experience with the Chairman’s Choice Award and interviews with coaching and playing staff involved in the game.
Titans’ Director of Rugby, Martin Jenkinson, welcomed the planned improvement and said, “One of our strengths at Rotherham has always been that we offer a warm, welcoming clubhouse with an outstanding atmosphere and service on match days.
“In addition to the planned improvements for the season start, we have put in place procedures that mean we and Heineken will have strong communication with an aim to continuously improve our offering.”
Business Development Manager for Heineken UK, Peter Lawson, said, “Heineken have a vast experience at working with rugby clubs from the grassroots to the very pinnacle of European Rugby.
“We will be working hard with the Titans to ensure both a memorable match day off the field and help develop the venue as a top function facility.”
The new Titans Ale will be launched at the annual shirt presentation evening on August 15th and as part of the build up to the new season we are asking supporters to help name the outside bar.
