The Rugby Women's World Cup kicks off in Ireland on August 9th and Rotherham Ladies Team would like to extend a warm welcome to women and girls who may be interested in playing to meet the women's training group to talk about the sport and what training involves while enjoying watching England play Italy in the Titans Bar.
Women's training takes place in the Phoenix training facilities on Herringthorpe Playing Fields every Monday at 7pm and new players of all abilities are always welcome.
"We know what a big step it can be for women to just turn up and start playing," said Women's Coach Jo Clark, "so if you'd like to meet us, see what we're like and talk about what's involved please come along and join us watching England defend their World Title.
“We're a mixed group who play for many reasons but find rugby is great for fitness, building self-confidence and has a fantastic social scene."
England versus Italy kicks-off on Sunday August 13th at 2.30pm and any women wanting to know more about playing for the Rotherham Ladies Team are welcome to come along or contact Jo Clark on 07983 986725 or by e-mail to: rothladiesrfu@hotmail.com
