Saturday's winners in the Strongbow Third Half Chairman's Choice Awards, were for the Titans Fly Half Lee Millar and for Hartpury Scrum Half Harry Randall
In what is a post-match Titans tradition; the senior official from both teams selects who they feel was the best player from the opposing team in the Titans Bar that celebrates all that is best about Rugby Union.
Titans' Chairman Nick Cragg started preceding’s by present Hartpury President Matt Bayliss with a Titans shield and tie to commemorate the first meeting between the two clubs. In a great reciprocal gesture Mr Bayliss took off his tie to hand back, though by his own admission might mean not being allowed back on the bus for being "incorrectly dressed".
In selecting Harry Randall, Mr Cragg praised the England under 20s star for "being fleet of foot and outstanding in his in game vision." Mr Cragg praised Hartpury on their first Championship win and wished them all the best for the future
Hartpury President Matt Bayliss thanked the Titans for their hospitality and praised us as a, "real rugby club!" He also praised the teams second half fight back and selected Lee Millar for outstanding kicking and co-ordinating play that had kept Hartpury under pressure.
Both players received a case of Strongbow presented by Titans' supporters Gary Kent and Paul Selwood and as is the Titans way this initiated mass applause from both sets of fans in the bar
