Rotherham Titans will aim to get back on the winning trail when they travel west to fourth place side Caldy on Saturday; kick-off at Paton Field is 2pm.
Having gone through October undefeated and stringing a run of five consecutive victories together, Titans are yet to register a win in November, having lost away to Ampthill and at home to Cambridge.
Therefore the South Yorkshire outfit will be focused on avoiding a third consecutive defeat as they aim to stay in touch with the top sides in the division.
However, they know the task ahead won’t be an easy one as Caldy are one of the leading sides in the league as impressive wins over Chinnor and Ampthill clearly demonstrate.
Going into the clash Rotherham have made five changes to the starting XV that lost at home last weekend.
The two changes in the pack sees Dan Preston-Routledge return from injury as he comes into the second row for Conor Keys and in the back row Luis Ball is given the nod over Tom Cotterill who drops to the bench.
Along the backline Callum Irvine comes in at full back for the injured Sam Allan, Harry Dunne comes in at outside centre for the injured Jamie Cooke and on the wing Dan Leake returns from injury for his first start since Birmingham Moseley in September and he’s in for Henry Roberts.
Speaking ahead of the game Titans’ Joe Barker said, “Caldy are a good team and playing them away from home means it’s going to be a challenge. They have a quick back three and they have a big, heavy pack of forwards who will look to win penalties at the set piece.
“However, it’s a challenge that excites us and it’s one we are looking forward to. We have belief in our squad and we know when they perform at their best they will give every team in this division a test.
“Having lost our last two games it’s important we stay in our systems and trust the systems, because when we do that we give ourselves a massive chance of winning the game.”
