Rotherham Titans head coach, Nic Rouse, is set to leave Clifton Lane at the end of the season to take up a coaching role at Championship side London Scottish.
Nic took over the reins at Rotherham in January following the departure of Andy Key, having previously been the forwards coach at Clifton Lane.
Nic presided over B&I Cup victories against Richmond and Connacht and Championship wins over Cornish Pirates and Yorkshire Carnegie.
Commenting about his time at Rotherham Nic said, “Firstly I’d like to thank all involved at Rotherham Titans, it’s only when you step foot in the club and get to know everyone and the people behind the badge you realise what a great place it is.
“I’d like to thank Martin and Nick for having faith in me to take the reins in January, without that I wouldn’t be in this position now.
“I also want to thank Eddie Robinson and all 1st XV staff and to all the players for their efforts throughout this tough season. I’ve never questioned their effort and last week’s result against Carnegie epitomises this in difficult circumstances.
“And finally I’d like to thank the VP’s and all the fans for their support; they’ve been fantastic and I was delighted we got the result we did last week for them.
“I know Rotherham Titans will bounce back and I look forward to coming back to Clifton Lane in the future.”
Rotherham Titans would like to go on record to express its thanks to Nic for his valuable contribution to the club and wish him well in his future career.
