The first round of Last Fan Standing proved to be a tricky one, as top of the league Coventry lost at home to Darlington Mowden Park.
The effect on Last Fan Standing was carnage, as 16 people fell at the first fence.
However, previous champions Penny Ralph and Brian Umpleby safely negotiated the choppy waters to progress into week 2.
