Rotherham Titans assistant coach, Eddie Robinson, will leave Clifton Lane at the end of the season to join up with Championship side Jersey Reds.
Eddie joined Rotherham in January to link-up with head coach Nic Rouse. The positive effect of the Rouse-Robinson combination was apparent from the start with an immediate upturn in Titans performances.
Rotherham Titans would like to express its sincere thanks to Eddie for his commitment, hard work and valuable contribution to the club and wish him well in his future career, which Rotherham believe will be a successful one.
Commenting on his time at Rotherham Eddie said, “It’s been a real privilege to been given the opportunity to coach at a proud club like Rotherham. Thanks must go to Martin Jenkinson and Nick Cragg, but I reserve a special thanks to Nic Rouse as this would not have been possible without him taking a risk on me and helping me to develop throughout my time here.
“The welcome I received from the players, staff, supporters and especially the VP’s allowed me to create some special memories in the last 3 months. I will take all my experiences forward, as I grow and develop, but Rotherham will take up a special place in my heart. I’ve travelled around the world with rugby but I haven’t come across a club as special as Rotherham!
“I’m sorry we weren’t able to pull off the Great Escape but I hope we were able to create some special memories for everyone involved in the club.”
