The Titans Rugby Academy at TRC is about to go into its 6th season!
This long running, successful partnership with TRC gives students access to the full range of courses at the college (A’ Levels, BTEC level 2 and 3 and GCSEs) whilst providing the students with approximately 9 hours of rugby a week and FREE gym membership!
Rotherham Titans players/staff will coach the academy 4 days a week, alongside the students’ academic studies and we believe this is THE place for state post 16 rugby in the local area.
The academy players have regular fixtures for the College (this year they reached the Yorkshire plate semi-final) and also play for local colts teams. The academy does not require you to play for any specific colts side, as we understand that many of the players have club loyalties and friends.
TRC offers other sports academies in football, netball, martial arts and an elite academy for students who do a variety of sports to enable them to do their gym/land based training as part of their college day.
