Titans all set for Bishop’s Stortford challenge

Rotherham Titans are all-set for a strong challenge this weekend when they travel to Hertfordshire to take on a Bishop’s Stortford side who sit 2 places above them in the table; kick-off at Silver Leys on Saturday is 3pm.

Bishop’s and Rotherham have each won three games this season; however, Stortford’s superior collection of bonus points sees them six points clear of the South Yorkshire side.

Titans will no doubt be keen to get back to winning ways, having not tasted victory since the middle of October, where a scintillating second half effort saw them overcome a star-studded Chinnor side at Kingsey Road.

Going into tomorrow’s game Rotherham have selected the same 20 man squad that lost last weekend at home to high-flyers Rams Rugby; however, there are three changes to the starting XV.

The sole change along the backline sees Morgan Bunting come in at fly half for Sam Hollingsworth.

Whilst in the pack Harry Whitfield comes in for Toby Williams at loose head prop and Elliott Ward is given the nod over Kieran Frost in the second row.

Titans: 15 Tom Bacon, 14 Dan Leake, 13 Jamie Cooke, 12 Tom Bullough, 11 Ben Robbins, 10 Morgan Bunting, 9 Connor Dever, 1 Harry Whitfield, 2 Harry Newborn, 3 Will Dennis, 4 Dan Preston-Routledge, 5 Elliott Ward, 6 Lewis Wilson, 7 Zak Poole (Capt.), 8 Anthony Maka.

Replacements: 16 Jack Bergmanas, 17 Toby Williams, 18 Kieran Frost, 19 Keifer Laxton, 20 Sam Hollingsworth.
