Titans looking to build against Old Elthamians

Rotherham Titans travel to Old Elthamians this weekend looking to build on their much-improved performance at Blackheath last week; kick-off at College Meadow on Saturday is 2pm.

Despite Rotherham’s defeat to high-flyers Blackheath there were lots of positives in Titans dogged display; all of which give the South Yorkshire side hope that a much-needed victory is not too far away. Indeed Rotherham will hope their resurgence starts against OE’s on Saturday.

However, no one at Clifton Lane underestimates the difficulty of the task at hand; as the South East London based side sit just 10 points off the top of the table after registering some impressive wins this term; most notably against top-end sides Chinnor and Rams.

Going into the game Titans have made four changes to their starting XV, two of which are forced through injury.

Along the backline; at full back Tom Bacon comes in for Sam Hollingsworth, whilst in the centres Harry Dunne comes in for the injured Tom Bullough (shoulder).

In the pack; Dan Preston-Routledge has recovered from a leg injury and comes into the second row for Elliott Ward, as does Anthony Maka who comes into the back row for the injured Lewis Wilson (groin).

Titans: 15 Tom Bacon, 14 Dan Leake, 13 Jamie Cooke, 12 Harry Dunne, 11 Ben Robbins, 10 Morgan Bunting, 9 Connor Dever, 1 Toby Williams, 2 Jack Bergmanas, 3 Will Dennis, 4 Dan Preston-Routledge, 5 Will Hughes, 6 Zak Poole (Capt.), 7 Keifer Laxton, 8 Anthony Maka.

Replacements: 16 Agustin Defelitto, 17 Reece Ward, 18 Elliott Ward, 19 Ben Waddington, 20 Sam Hollingsworth.
