Rotherham Titans are all set for the challenges of a long journey to Devon when they take on Plymouth Albion at Brickfields on Saturday; kick-off is 3pm.
On the back of their home victory over Esher last week, Titans are looking to register back-to-back victories for the first time since they beat Darlington Mowden Park at Christmas.
Going into the game Titans have made 5 changes to their starting XV, with along the backline Ellis Abrahams coming in at outside centre for Harry Dunne, whilst on the wing there’s a return for Connor Field who comes in for Jamie Cooke.
In the pack Jack Bergmanas gets the nod over Ali Thomson at hooker, Jamie Ure comes into the second row for Dan Preston-Routledge and at number 8 team captain Seb Nagle-Taylor returns to the side as Tom Cotterill drops to the bench.
Speaking ahead of the match Titans Joe Barker said, “We know it’s never easy going down to Plymouth; they are a big, physical side and they will look to dominate at the set piece. However, that’s an area where we have massively improved as the season has gone on and we are comfortable that we can match most teams in that area.
“The boys have trained hard in preparation for the challenge and it’s a challenge we are excited about. We saw some good signs against Esher last week and we are confident we can kick-on for the remainder of the season and achieve some positive results.”
