Titans all set for Cambridge exam

Rotherham Titans are prepared for a stiff examination on Saturday when they travel to Grantchester Road for the first time to take on Cambridge RUFC in National 1; kick-off is 3pm.

Having not registered an away victory since the 22-20 success over Bishop's Stortford back in early December, Rotherham are keen to get that particular monkey off their backs and give their large army of travelling fans something to shout about.

However, ‘The Blood & Sand’ - as they are known, having been formed in 1923 to honour those who died in the ‘Great’ War – will be equally keen to register a win as they look to pull clear of the relegation zone at the bottom end of the table.

Going into the clash Titans have made just two changes to the starting XV which lost 36-24 to Ampthill at Clifton Lane last time out.

Both changes come in the backline with at fly half Callum Irvine returning from injury to replace Joe Barker, whilst on the wing Henry Roberts comes back into the side as Dan Leake moves to full back for Tom Allott.

Titans: 15 Dan Leake, 14 Henry Roberts, 13 Jamie Cooke, 12 Harry Dunne, 11 Connor Field, 10 Callum Irvine, 9 Connor Dever, 1 Dan Richardson, 2 Jack Bergmanas, 3 Will Dennis, 4 Dan Preston-Routledge, 5 Jamie Ure, 6 Luis Ball, 7 Zak Poole, 8 Seb Nagle-Taylor (Capt.).

Replacements: 16 Ali Thomson, 17 Rikki Stout, 18 Kieran Frost, 19 Tom Cotterill, 20 Alex Dolly.
