Live Premiership Rugby semi-finals in the club on Saturday

PREMIERSHIP RUGBY has today confirmed that the Gallagher Premiership Rugby semi-finals will be played on Saturday 10 October, both live on BT Sport 1.

We will be showing both games live and food will be available.

Lee Blackett’s Wasps side – the No 2 seeds - will kick off what will be a compelling day of rugby action, at 1.30pm, when they will face either Bristol Bears or Sale Sharks, at the Ricoh Arena.

The No 1 seeds, Exeter Chiefs, will host either Bath Rugby, Bristol Bears or Sale Sharks in the second semi-final, which kicks off at 4.30pm.

Gallagher Premiership Rugby semi-final line-up:

Saturday 10 October

1.30pm – Wasps v Bristol Bears/Sale Sharks

4.30pm – Exeter Chiefs v Bath/Bristol Bears/Sale Sharks

Both matches are live on BT Sport 1 with the programme starting at 1pm

If after 40 minutes of play each way the scores are level, there shall be a five-minute break (where the teams and players shall remain on the pitch) and then a period of extra time shall begin between the teams of ten minutes each way, with a one-minute interval.

If the scores remain equal after this period of extra time then the winner will be the team which has scored the most tries in the game (including extra time).

If the scores are level and the number of tries scored is equal, then there shall be a place kick competition.

Each team nominates three kickers who will attempt to slot the ball through posts from six designated positions on the 10 and 22-metre lines.

If the scores are tied after the six kicks for each team, it will go to “sudden death” from the middle of the 10-metre line. The three kickers must have been playing at the final whistle of extra time.
