Everyone at the Titans would like to wish our sponsors and supporters the best Christmas possible, under the current restrictions, and we hope that 2021 brings a New Year where we can all look forward to meeting up again, to enjoy some rugby, and each other's company.
As you all know, the Clubhouse closed for the most recent lockdown, and for the move into Tier 3 where we are currently. We managed the beer stocks better during this lockdown, with very little wastage. We hope those who came down enjoyed their Guinness and East Coast IPA at home.
Unless the restrictions in Tier 2 change, it is doubtful we would re-open, if the area was to move to Tier 2 due to legislation regarding eating and drinking and household bubbles. However, we hope that as the vaccination programme rolls out, there may be better news for the Spring.
On the Rugby side Steve Salvin and Martin Jenkinson are busy re-signing players from those originally contracted for this season, to form the basis of the squad for the 2021/22 season. More information in the New Year on their progress.
Throughout the last few months, we have been able to continue with the Foundation working in schools, thanks to our sponsors Liberty Steel and Ex- Animo Foods - McDonalds. Over 500 young people have worked with the players, and Steve Salvin, and the team have delivered over 600 hours of coaching this last half term. They are almost fully booked for the half term back after Christmas.
Jamie Cooke, who works for the Foundation, had the idea for an app to support the work done by the Foundation on Healthy Lifestyle and Diet for children. This has now been picked up as a STEM project, run by the WorkWise charity, and supported by AND Digital and CityFibre. See the link below for more information on how this will roll out to Rotherham schools.

Finally, thank you again to everyone for your on-going support; especially those who have donated season ticket and player sponsorship money, our Brand For a Grand supporters who have donated as well. Your support and generosity is helping the club to get through this very difficult time.
To you all, and your families, stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Clifton Lane sometime in 2021.
