On Saturday 4th July the Club will be re-opening from 12 noon until 7pm, however there will be restrictions on how we use the clubhouse and the numbers allowed inside at any one time are limited.
Further opening times will be updated for the following week via social media.
There will be a set of COVID regulations in place. We ask that you observe these correctly. We may have to ask people to leave the premises if they will not observe these regulations. Children may attend, but it is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that they too observe the COVID regulations. Everyone must be seated, inside and outside.
Only the main bar and the conservatory will be available and a one way system to enter and exit the club will operate.
To maintain social distancing there will be floor markers to ensure people stay apart.
Tables have been organised according to social distancing, with a maximum of 6 people at any table.
Register your contact details with the Bar Manager on arrival. These details will be used for Track and Trace should this be necessary. We will need to keep these details for 3 weeks. You will need to re-register every time you attend. You also need to list everyone in your social / family group.
There are limits on numbers inside as everyone has to have a seat. There is no ‘vertical drinking’. Outside space will be available but again there is no ‘vertical drinking’ allowed. Everyone must be seated.
Please keep following government guidelines with regard to cleanliness. Wash your hands regularly. We have provided Sanitiser in the Toilets and in the outside areas.
Keep Socially Distanced. We are asking people to keep more than 2m apart where possible, except in their family “pods”.
Beer that is taken outside will be served in plastic glasses. No glass, or glass bottles, should be taken outside.
Food will be served on paper/plastic plates and you will use plastic knives and forks. Everything should be disposed of in the bins provided when finished.
If there is a change to this procedure (we are learning and adapting all the time) then you will be informed.
We would prefer payment by card and contactless is preferred, however cash can be used.
Toilets – these will operate on one in, one out – Gents will use the toilets in the corridor near the changing room entrance, ladies will use the disabled toilet next to it. Return to the main bar is via the conservatory.
If necessary, wait outside until toilets become free. This will be policed by yourselves and not the club. Good sense must prevail.
Toilet surfaces will be cleaned before use and at regular intervals during the opened period. You must wash hands and sanitise after using the Toilets.
Sanitizer is available around the club.
Beer and Food
There will be a mixture of real ale and other beers available – we have ordered John Smiths, Carling, Guinness, cider, and Steelos. There will also be some bottled beers available. Food options will be updated as we move forward with the new arrangements at the Club.
Membership
For those who supported us through the Crowdfunding campaign, you will be able to collect your Membership card on Saturday, as well as on other dates when the Club is open.
Face masks will arrive next week due to a delay in production. We will inform everyone as soon as they are available.
Quiz Nights and Titans Tuesday
These will resume as soon as possible.
We have tried to cover all aspects of your safety in our Risk Assessment, but if you see anything that is particularly unsafe or you have an idea for things that could be done better, please speak to John Whaling or Kim Adshead, the Bar Manager
If you have COVID Symptoms or it is less than 7 days since you recovered, we ask you to stay away, until fully recovered. If you are in a high-risk category, we suggest that you do not come to the club at this stage. Whilst the club is doing all it can, it is also the responsibility of all who attend to look after their own safety.
