This memorable game from the 2013/14 season saw Rotherham travel to deepest Cornwall to take on the Pirates of Penzance, in round 21 of the Greene King IPA Championship.
In this one the Titans produced a stunning second half display to overturn a first half 20-7 deficit, to run out 40-20 winners and secure a place in the end-of-season Championship play-offs.
Titans scored six tries at the Mennaye Field; Michael Keating bagged a brace and there were one each for Sean Scanlon, Tom Cruse, Dan White and Jack Roberts, whilst Juan Pablo Socino and Dallan Murphy chipped in with 10 points from the tee.

Post match coaches comments:
Lee Blackett: “It was the old cliché of a game of two halves; we were at our poorest in the first 40 minutes. Our set piece wasn’t good enough and we had a frank and honest discussion at half time with the boys. And credit to them because they came out and gave the reaction that we all wanted in the second half.
“I think that shows what an excellent group of boys we have here at Rotherham and of how good we can be when we have the ball in hand. The boys have plenty of quality and talent and when they are at the races and they play to the best of their ability, there really are a difficult side to beat.
“At the start of the season we probably looked at this fixture and thought to come away with a losing bonus point would have been a good result. So to actually win and score six tries and to deny them anything really shows how far this group of boys have come this season.
“I think Rikki Stout and Toby Williams came on and did a great job up front, but having said that I thought Jamie Broadley and Michael Keating were outstanding and Juan at ten was excellent, he’s a natural footballer and Newcastle are very lucky to have such a player in their ranks for next season.
“We were disappointed to lose Charlie Mulchrone to an injury, but I thought Dan White came on and did an excellent job; he’s a cracking little nine and I believe he’s got a big future in the game. I think he’s one of the best passing scrum halves around; he’s top class for me.
“I think the result, not the performance because that hurt me a little bit in the first half, but as a result it’s the best one of the season for me. I’ve never played here personally and won, so to do it in the manner we have is very satisfying.”
