Another quick update to let you know that we re-open this Thursday from 7pm with Quiz Night from 8pm, Friday we have fish and chips followed by Leicester v Montpellier KO at 8pm, Saturday the bar is open from 12:00 with La Rochelle v Toulouse on the big screen at 4:45 and then we have Sunday Roast on Sunday.
This format will continue for the time being with restrictions due to be eased late June. Please contact john.whaling@titans-rugby.com to make bookings so we can ensure we do not overcrowd the bar.
Our Crowdfunder is going well and after 2 weeks we have raised £16,762. There are still 2 weeks to run and you can buy new club ties, Special Edition Odd Balls Titans Hat, membership, season tickets, player sponsorship, Brand for a Grand sponsorship, the chance to travel to an away game on the players’ coach, chance to dine pre-match with players and finally donate £40 to buy a sports bra for the ladies section of the club. You may have seen in the press that vandals smashed all the windows in the Valley Room last Thursday night. We do have video images but unfortunately not good enough to identify the 2 males and 2 females. This is an expense we could have done without as we finally start to come out of lockdown. We would like to thank all the supporters and local businesses who offered help to replace windows and improve security. It is much appreciated.
We will be announcing 3 more players in the Rotherham Advertiser on Thursday, exciting times with the season due to start on 4th September at home to Wharfedale. It will be great to welcome you back.
Finally, the Brand for a Grand draw will take place in the clubhouse on Tuesday 8th June when you will also have chance to question the Directors.
