Rotherham rugby fans attending Saturday's home game against Chester are being asked to support humanitarian aid efforts for refugees fleeing Ukraine.
Members of Rotherham Aid For Ukraine will be holding a bucket collection at the game with donations being used to help fill a container of aid that local volunteers are looking to send to Poland to help with relief efforts there.
Organiser Cllr Adam Tinsley said, “I would like to thank the directors and wider club at Rotherham Titans for their assistance in allowing this and a food collection at next week's Titan Tuesday. It shows the heart of the club that we got a virtually instantaneous yes, and have been offered more than we asked for from the club."
Titans' Commercial Director, John Whaling, said, "Our travelling Shed on Tour showed their generosity last week at Hull supporting their raffle and collection for Ukraine and as a club we feel it is our duty to help relieve the unbelievable suffering of the Ukrainian people."
In addition to the bucket collection, Titans fans and the wider public are invited to bring food and other items on the appeals list below to the club next Tuesday.
Volunteers will be on hand to accept donations in Harry's Bar from 11am on Tuesday March 15th until the conclusion of Titans Tuesday at approximately 9pm.
