With Crowdfunder, there are sometimes opportunities for projects to apply for extra, matched, funding, if the project fits certain criteria. The TCF has been overwhelmed by schools and community groups asking for support after Covid.

This extra demand has been recognised and our application for match funding has been successful!

The National Emergencies Trust Local Action Fund have agreed that donations to our project will be matched by the fund up to the value of £250 per donation, to help us expand our provision.

This could raise an extra £20,000 for us!

There are some important notes for this:

Only ONE donation per supporter will be matched by the National Emergencies Trust Local Action Fund, up to a maximum of £250.

• For example, if you’re donating £300 for player sponsorship, and also want a season ticket, please use 2 separate emails so that the first donation gets matched up to £250, and the second for £130.

• For 2 season tickets – total of £260 – please use 2 different names and emails and then we would receive £130 in match funding for each.

We have until the 15th July to achieve the maximum of £20,000 in donations – and the Fund will match amounts up to that total.

We could raise £40,000 in just a few weeks!

Also, please don’t forget the Gift Aid – it makes a huge difference to the TCF funding.
