Rotherham Titans went down 61-19 to Championship side Bedford Blues on a warm afternoon at Goldington Road.
Although Bedford fully deserved their victory, the final score slightly flattered the level 2 outfit as they ran in 3 tries inside the last ten minutes.
Nevertheless Rotherham can take lots of positives from a game, where for long periods they more than matched their higher-level opposition.
Indeed the South Yorkshire side deservedly picked up three tries for their efforts through Theo Nwosu-Hope, Luckas Sableman-Blue and Jack Hedley.
Titans will now focus on their final warm-up game Vs Leeds Tykes on Friday evening, before hosting Harrogate at Clifton Lane on Saturday 3rd September.
