Over the summer the TCF are organising a number of projects for young people across the town.
In partnership with Flying Futures, they will be running HAF sessions at Broom Valley school and High Greave school. These are aimed at children on free school meals, but are open to other families for a small charge.
Councillor Michael Sylvester-Bennett has kindly agreed to fund additional places at High Greave, and at our own camps through his councillor funding. Just ask us for more information
There will also be our usual Rugby Camps at Clifton Lane in the last week of the holidays.
NEW for this summer will be the Wednesday Masterclass sessions, aimed at young players between 12 and 17, with some of the best local players involved, sharing their skills. Groups will be small, with 1:1 instruction where appropriate, so if you want to improve your box-kicking, tackle technique, scrum or line out skills, why not sign up to the Masterclass series this summer?
And all through the summer there will be Walking Rugby every Thursday night at Clifton Lane. Free, fun fitness, open to all from 5.30 - 6.30pm. Please note later start time due to changes in training sessions for the players.
