Luke Cole re-signs with the Titans

Rotherham Titans are today delighted to announce that hooker Luke Cole has agreed terms which will see him remain at Clifton Lane for the 2017/18 Championship season.

Cole, 23, joined the Titans during the summer of 2016 from Premiership side Gloucester, where he was part of their academy system. Cole made his Premiership debut for Gloucester against Leicester Tigers in April 2016 and he’s also represented the South West club in the LV= Cup.

Previously, Cole was part of the Yorkshire Carnegie academy and whilst there was dual-registered with Otley RFC in the National leagues where he impressed greatly.

Halifax born, Cole is a proud Yorkshireman and a former Prince Henry’s pupil who has represented England at U16's level.

In his debut season for the Titans last year, Luke made 15 appearances and scored three tries. Luke caught the eye on several occasions with his ball-carrying ability, his work over the ball at the breakdown and with his set-piece work, all of which were outstanding.

Titans have high hopes that Luke will progress further in the up-coming season, meaning Rotherham have secured a talented front row forward who will add significantly to the strength of the squad.
