Rotherham Titans are today pleased to announce that fly half Caolan Ryan has agreed terms to remain at Clifton Lane for the 2017/18 Championship season.
Caolan, 25, joined Rotherham from Darlington Mowden Park in November 2016, having begun his professional career in the Worcester Warriors Academy, before going on to play for Moseley and Coventry respectively.
Birmingham born, Ryan made an impressive contribution for the Titans last term, making 13 appearances in all competitions and scoring 46 points from the tee.
Caolan’s debut for Rotherham came in a dramatic 23-16 Championship win over Jersey Reds at Clifton Lane, where points from his the boot late on in the game proved crucial in a thrilling victory.
Predominantly, Caolan has played in the 10 jersey for Rotherham; however, he is also capable of playing full back, having previously played Championship rugby in the number 15 shirt.
The retention of Caolan is a plus for Rotherham and he is expected to progress further in the up-coming season as part of the Titans new-look squad.
