Rotherham Titans are delighted to announce that Fijian back row forward Ifereimi Boladau has joined the Club ahead of the 2017/18 Greene King IPA Championship season.
Boladau, 30, is currently serving with the British Army and will add significant experience and bulk to the Titans back row department.
Positionally, Boladau is equally adept as a flanker or as is expected at the rear of the Titans pack in the number 8 jersey.
Bola, as he likes to be called, has Championship experience having spent time with London Scottish last term. Prior to that Bola spent 2 seasons with the Welsh regional side Ospreys, where he made his debut in 2014, having previously represented Bridgend Ravens at club level.
Born in Suva, Fiji, Bola has also represented the British Army and his native Fiji in the World Sevens Series. He also represented the Northern Hemisphere Vs the Southern Hemisphere in the Help for Heroes Match.
Educated in his home town at Suva Grammar School, Bola is a strong ball carrying back rower that is expected to make a significant impact for the Titans this season.
The Club are proud to have a current serviceman within their ranks and hope that our links with the Army can continue for the benefit of both teams.
