Rotherham Titans are delighted to announce a further addition to their squad, with Centre/Wing Wesley Hamilton agreeing terms to join the Clifton Lane based side.
Hamilton, 25, was born in Cape Town, South Africa where he’s played most of his rugby for UCT RFC and False Bay RFC, before last year joining Hawick RFC in Scotland.
Wesley comes from a rugby playing family, as both his father and brother played in South Africa; meaning Hamilton took up the sport whilst just 7 years old at Kirstenhof Primary School.
Wesley is a big, physical back who has plenty of speed and the ability to break the gain line. His addition to the Titans set-up is an exciting one and he’ll be certain to add to the stiff competition for a match day jersey.
Speaking ahead of his arrival at Rotherham, Wesley revealed, “It is an exciting time to have been given the opportunity to sign for Rotherham Titans. I have been dreaming for this day to come so it’s a real privilege.
“I look forward to meeting everyone and settling in. For me the hard work only starts now, so I want to take the opportunity with both hands and give my all for the club.”
