Rotherham Titans are pleased to announce the addition of second rower Guy Borrowdale to the squad ahead of the 2017/18 Greene King IPA Championship season.
Borrowdale, 21, joins the Titans from Championship rivals Yorkshire Carnegie, having previously played for Sheffield Tigers and a loan spell at Hull Ionians last term.
Guy is a former England Under-16 international who represented his country against Italy in 2012. His Carnegie debut in the 2014/15 season came against Rotherham.
As well as playing rugby, Guy also plays Lacrosse and has won two national finals with the Sheffield Steelers Lacrosse team.
Sheffield born, the former Prince Henry's Grammar School pupil stands at 6’ 6” and weighs in at 117kg, all of which will make him a physical presence for the Titans next season.
Delighted with his move to South Yorkshire, Guy said, "I am really looking forward to joining up with Rotherham Titans in the summer. I was really impressed with Andy Keys vision for the club going forward this season and the passion of their fans, which is why I wanted to be a part of it.
“I am excited for a great season to come with some great players, fans and coaches."
