Rotherham Titans are today pleased to announce the addition of scrum half Francisco Vieira to their squad ahead of the up-coming campaign.
Francisco, 23, will join up with the Titans from Portuguese side CDUP Rugby.
Born in Porto, Portugal, Francisco has represented his country at both full international XV level and for the Portuguese 7s side, where he attained the honour of Captain.
Francisco previously spent a season with Italian side ASD Gran Sasso, who are based close to L'Aquila.
Vieira is an exciting addition to the Titans squad; Francisco is a tenacious operator around the park with a fearless approach to the game. He has great footwork and pace with an eye for the try-line and he will add significantly to the stiff competition for the scrum half jersey next season.
Delighted with his move to the Championship in South Yorkshire, Francisco said, “I am very excited about the opportunity I have been given to join a club like Rotherham Titans.
