On Saturday, away at Darlington Mowden Park, Zak Poole will run out for his 50th game for Rotherham Titans. However, it isn’t just a 50th game, it is his 50th consecutive game and that must be some sort of record.
He made his debut on 1st September 2018 at home to Old Elthamians, where we lost 33-34 and scored his first try against Caldy away on 24th November of the same year in a 29-33 win.
He has started in 48 games and come on as replacement just twice, with a total, to date, of 10 tries.
Zak became our Club Captain this season and has happily downed many pints as Man of the Match in the Third Half.
Sponsored by Shaun and Debbie, Zak deserves another pint - or two - for his 50th appearance, hopefully with a Win to celebrate as well.
