Although we are still closed, we have been busy behind the scenes preparing to welcome you all back.
Clubhouse:
We will be re-opening on Thursday 20th May for our usual Thursday night quiz, Friday 21st May will be fish and chips, Saturday 22nd May will allow everyone to come and have a nice quiet drink with old friends and Sunday 23rd May will be Sunday roast.
We expect to be quite busy so we would ask that you book your tables for Friday and Sunday as soon as possible please. Just drop John Whaling an email at john.whaling@titans-rugby.com and he will sort the booking for you.
We will restart Titans Tuesday from 8th June and start revealing the squad we have assembled for next season. We will reveal some of the signings prior to this but Titans Tuesday will be your chance to meet some of the squad and we will have an evening with the Directors.
We are taking bookings for functions and we already have every Saturday booked up to 24th July. Christmas is also starting to get busy so if you would like us to sort a function out for you then please contact me as soon as possible.
Squad Builder:
The squad builder has been a great success. As of today we have 240 players so the prize is at least £600 this month. If you have not joined yet or you would like another number, then please contact Tony Jenkinson at tony@titans-rugby.com and he will allocate you a number and give you details on how to pay. It is just £5 per number per month. All profits go to help build a better team. The next draw will take place on Friday 30th April and all numbers for April need to be confirmed by Wednesday 28th.
Crowdfunder:
We are going to be running another Crowdfunder throughout May. We would encourage you to buy your Season Tickets, Memberships, Player Sponsorships and Brand for a Grand through the Crowdfunder so we can reclaim gift aid on personal donations.
Everything is looking good for a September restart and we are expecting to see the draft fixtures by the end of this month. Once they are official we will be sharing them with you all. We will also be releasing a few players names to get you excited about the new season.
Sponsorship:
As well as the normal sponsorship opportunities, we are also looking for someone to sponsor the Sin Bin. The sponsor will be recognised in the match day programme, on the website and will get a plug every time someone is sent to the Sin Bin.
We also need sponsors for the players' food after games and after training, more details to follow.
We will be making contact with our existing sponsors to discuss if you can do any sponsorship with us next year in the near future. We need to have the sponsors sorted out by end of May because we have to order the new shirts and they are on longer lead times than normal due to the pandemic.
Clubhouse Users:
We have Slimming World in the clubhouse every Thursday at the moment but as things get busier, this will expand and include Monday and Wednesday going forward. For more details contact Michelle on 07867 304453.
Starting 18th May we have Burlesque Chair dancing. This is a great way to keep fit and sessions last 1 hour. For more details contact Ruth via email ruthcharmak@gmail.com

Lastly, thank you to you all for helping us through the last year, it has been very difficult but hopefully we are now coming through and there is a very strong chance we will be playing rugby again in September. Steve and Martin have assembled a great squad and we can’t wait to start sharing some names with you.
